Common questions

Do I need to run Postfix or another mail server?

No. zaSend runs the sending pipeline. You add DNS records for your domain, create an API key or SMTP key, and send through zaSend.

Can I use SMTP or just the API?

Both. Use the REST API for application code, or connect any SMTP client to smtp.zasend.com:587 with a domain sending key.

Why is the free plan limited?

Email reputation is fragile. The free plan is meant for testing real transactional flows while we protect the shared sending infrastructure from abuse.

Can you guarantee inbox placement?

No email provider can honestly guarantee inbox placement. zaSend helps with the basics: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, bounce handling, suppressions, logs, and careful rate controls.
